Just as the world around is constantly changing, so too our understanding of what counts as good leadership needs to evolve consistently. Today we require new leadership competencies than ten years ago. And next year we likely need again to adapt our understanding of leadership development.
Following the principle of constant change, we believe that awareness and mindfulness are the foundations of an ethical, strong and sustainable approach to leadership. Moreover, it is our conviction that we first need to cultivate awareness for ourselves and how we see the world before stepping into compassionate co-creation and other styles of leadership.
In line with our philosophy that leadership starts with self-awareness, we have developed our Mindful Leadership Model that progresses in three stages: from Mindful Self-Leadership to Empathic Co-Creation to Systems Facilitation
Based on the Mindful Leadership Model, we have designed a mindfulness-based program for teams and their leaders to acquire the meta-competencies needed to co-create a human-centered and desirable new world of work.

Especially in times of increased home office and virtual collaboration, the Program can have a significant positive impact on the team spirit.
For example, working with a team from a leading e-commerce company, our weekly sessions served as a much-appreciated informal space to connect among colleagues. In addition to the emotional support through the Program, the evaluation also demonstrated that participants strengthened hands-on skills that assist them in their everyday at work. The case study, which also shows a long-term evaluation, shows sustained positive effects of the Program three months after completion.
“Thanks to WEVOLVE’s leadership program, we are able to support our employees to grow and to develop the tools and mindset needed in times of acceleration and change. Because the program brings a true benefit to our team, we are planning a larger rollout as part of the learning and development strategy.”
Having worked with numerous teams across organizations, we are able to draw some conclusions about the impact of the Program. While there certainly are limitations to measuring a shift in mindset and quality of human connection, collecting data before and after each Program allows us to identify tendencies and benefits.
Our Benchmark compares the experiences across 16 teams, indicating a clear uplift across pre-defined KPIs. Through the Program we achieved an overall uplift of over 20%, with the KPI-cluster “stress regulation” showing the greatest increase with 35%. For more details, access the full Benchmark report here.
